Gafcon provided full-time on-site program, project, and construction management services to adaptively reuse the existing 1M SF Alhambra Office Campus. Gafcon also served as an extension of The Alhambra’s property management and development teams which were responsible for preparing a facilities conditions assessment for the entire campus. The assessment outlined a program recommending facility improvements and repairs to the existing buildings and infrastructure.
Gafcon provided project management services for several projects that would transform the existing, underutilized office and manufacturing facility into a vibrant mixed-use community consisting of commercial office, retail, restaurant, and residential uses. Gafcon managed the development and construction of The Shops at The Alhambra, the LA Fitness Building, a 776-stall multi-level parking structure, the reconstruction of the campus cooling tower, and various tenant improvement projects. Also designed, but not yet built, is The Village at The Alhambra, a 300-unit condominium complex.
