Corporation for Supportive Housing
Gafcon, Inc. served as the development manager and project manager for the development of a new 67,000 SF facility for the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles. The project consisted of adaptively reusing an older building to provide supportive housing and support services to chronically homeless women.
Gafcon, Inc. developed and maintained the project schedule, guided the Center through the early portion of the entitlement process with the City of Los Angeles, performed a property condition assessment, and developed the first cut estimate based on the conceptual design prepared by the project architect. The project received the 2011 Los Angeles Conservancy Preservation Award.
Our Gafcon logo icon consists of six colors and tribal codes.
Green stands for “Become our clients’ partner and anticipate their needs.”
