Sr Project Controls Manager
Joined Gafcon 2011

I have been with Gafcon since 2011 as Sr. Program Controls Manager and lead of a high school district bond program. I chose to work for Gafcon because it is a family-oriented firm and has always been a leader in using technology to manage capital improvement programs. As Gafcon’s Center for Excellence Program Controls team leader, I have had the opportunity of collaborating with our technology team, program controls staff and our clients to optimize and integrate critical business processes, data and documents required to successfully manage capital improvement programs. I work closely with our clients to customize and refine the tools used for improved reporting.

After earning my Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island, I went back to school to get a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters in Accounting and Financial Management from DeVry University–Keller Graduate School. I went on to become the Assistant Director of Admissions at DeVry and now I am a faculty member at Corinthian Colleges and Ashford University, where I teach accounting, finance and business management. I do make time to enjoy San Diego’s beautiful beaches, playing volleyball and serving as treasurer of the board for I Love a Clean San Diego.
