Joined Gafcon 2008
After serving 21 years in the U.S. Navy, I knew I wanted to work at a company with a collaborative spirit that provides a valuable service to its clients. Gafcon has given me the opportunity to utilize my leadership and resource management skills, and build upon my work experience which includes over 12 years in construction and project management. I am part of one of our larger project teams managing new construction and modernization projects for San Diego’s largest community college district. As a father of two college students, it is rewarding to manage the construction of new classrooms and facilities, knowing you are making a difference in a student’s life.
Having grown up in the mountains of Wyoming, I am an avid hiker, climber and “peak bagger,” averaging over 50 mountain summits per year. I also volunteer for Operation Christmas Child, the world’s largest Christmas project of any kind. Last year, as the collection center coordinator for south San Diego County, I was responsible for coordinating and shipping over 15,200 shoe boxes of gifts for needy children.
