Yehudi “Gaf” Gaffen has more than 35 years of construction and program management experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. Throughout his professional career, Gaf has worked for construction companies, construction managers and real estate developers. He has personally managed projects ranging from less than one million dollars to billions of dollars in construction value. Gaf is recognized as a leading expert in the fields of construction and project management.
Penny is a licensed Architect with more than 37 years of experience in both design and construction project management. She specializes in interdisciplinary coordination/constructability reviews, accessibility compliance, facility condition assessment and quality assurance. Penny provides expert testimony on standard of care of Architects and Construction Managers, construction defects, construction injuries, construction delay claims, and accessibility compliance and prevailing wage issues. With eight years in active duty as a U.S. Navy Civil Engineer Corps Officer, Penny provided trial and deposition testimony before the Federal Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals. She has also managed quality assurance on over 140 residential projects.
As a lifelong management consultant, construction professional, expert witness and educator, Ray Rodriguez has helped many cities, school districts, colleges and companies develop and build their projects. Mr. Rodriguez has been a licensed general contractor since 1979, is the former Deputy Superintendent of the Sacramento City Unified School District, former Director of Facilities for the Long Beach Community College District, a founding partner of RMA Construction Services Inc., and founder of RDZ Enterprises, Inc. a management and construction consulting firm. Ray serves as an expert witness in construction delay claims, standards of care and contractor disputes.
Ron holds more than 35 years of experience in leading architectural, engineering and construction teams in large, complex project designs for the commercial, educational, governmental, and residential markets. He is a California licensed Architect and has been a member of AIA since 1980, holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and continues to take courses at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. He has been a guest speaker at the Graduate School of Design at Stanford University and the Ziman Center for Real Estate at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. He is in expert in construction management and sustainable (“green”) design and is LEED AP certified with a specialty in Building Design & Construction (LEED AP BD&C).
Marty Glaske has more than 20 years’ experience in construction and the development and enforcement of labor compliance programs throughout the State of California. He is a leading expert on prevailing wage, apprenticeship and wage and hour regulations as they pertain to public works projects. Mr. Glaske has overseen both public and private projects throughout the state and has performed labor compliance on over 300 projects with a construction value of over $5B. Marty has a been a guest speaker at professional conferences relating to prevailing wage and wage and hour regulations.
