How Technology Has Changed the Industry

The collection, organization, analysis and reporting of data are four vital steps that Gafcon’s experts follow throughout many parts of their daily functions. In the department of Technical Support Services, technology has vastly changed the way that these steps are handled. When the nSpec™ system was developed by Gafcon, the collecting, organizing and reporting steps became automated, thus lending more time and energy toward analysis. This introduced a new standard in QA inspection services. Our inspectors save builders both time and money by allowing builders to identify, communicate and resolve construction deficiencies immediately.

This unique tool includes a mobile handheld computer capable of taking high-quality photos and also includes wireless access to a comprehensive list of defects via Gafcon’s database. Reports can be emailed via wireless connection directly from the jobsite to the client.

nSpec is a sophisticated QA system that provides the most effective and efficient quality control program available. Through technology, this progressive approach to the inSpection process has kept Gafcon ahead of the curve in yet another division of their business.
