Gafcon provides program, project and construction management services for the District’s $300 million bond program. The team is currently managing a program for the entire bond measure, including establishment of design standards and technical standards for both Grossmont and Cuyamaca campuses. The program involves 37 individual projects as well as EIR's for both campuses and infrastructure improvements district wide. New construction projects include: Science Building, Science and Technology Mall, Student Services Complex, Student Center, Communication Arts Building, Digital/Sculpture Arts Building, as well as various improvements to many existing buildings and upgrades to roadways, bus stops, and the Central Heating and Cooling Plant.
This Program has been named a "San Diego Taxpayers Association Golden Watchdog Award Finalist" four times.
